Step 1: Register at the NBI System

  • Go to the NBI websitehttps://clearance.nbi.gov.ph/ and register.
  • Check the “No” box and fill out the registration form.
  • Enter your basic information, phone number, and email address. 
  • Check the box “Terms of Services” and agree. 
  • Check the “Recaptcha” box and then click “Sign-Up.
  • Enter the 6-digit number One-Time-Password, and submit.
  • Go to your email inbox, open the message, and click “Activate Account.

Step 2: Filling Out the NBI Application Form and Scheduling

  • Fill out the NBI application form.
  • Save your Profile and click “Submit.
  • Click the “Apply for Clearance“.
  • Select your valid ID, enter your valid ID number, and click “I Agree.
  • Select the NBI branch.
  • Select the date and time.

Step 3: Select Gcash on the Payment Option

Select Gcash as your mode of payment. Select Gcash, and a reminder will appear. Click “Proceed to Payment.” to generate your reference number. Click “Submit” once your reference number and the total amount to be paid will appear.

Note: Screenshot your reference number or save it on a clean piece of paper because you are going to input it into your Gcash account when you are about to pay.

Go to transaction details and check your NBI appointment. You can see that your appointment is still “Pending” because you haven’t paid your NBI Clearance appointment yet.

Open your Gcash application on your mobile phone and enter your 4-digit Gcash password to log in.

If you encounter a problem and want to refund your payment, you can contact Gcash customer service.

Once you successfully paid your appointment on your Gcash account, you can wait for the day of your scheduled date to process your clearance. Do not forget to bring all the required documents, such as your valid ID, printed application form, and reference number. 

Note: For renewal applicants, once you finish paying your NBI clearance using cash, you don’t need to go to the NBI branch to pick up your renewed NBI clearance. You will be given a choice to deliver it to your home or pick it up yourself.
