ANSWER: If you missed your scheduled date, it doesn’t always end up with your slot’s cancellation. It depends on whether you’ve already paid the NBI clearance fee (NBI Clearance and E-Service Fee).

If you haven’t paid the NBI clearance fee, it means you haven’t reserved the slot yet. Therefore, your appointment will be automatically canceled, and you will be required to choose another date.

On the other hand, if you’re able to secure an online appointment and pay the necessary fee on time. You can still go the next day and process your application. According to the NBI Clearance Help Desk, you have 15 days from your original appointment date to show up at your chosen NBI Clearance branch and process your application. Before when I applied my NBI Clearance for my job requirements the fee is different from before, but now the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) clearance has announced to the public that the NBI clearance fee increase due to the Documentary Stamp Tax and following by the TRAIN Law (Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion).

The NBI (National Bureau of Investigation) Clearance will have an additional Php 15.00, and this implementation started last March 12, 2018.

HOW MUCH IS AN NBI CLEARANCE MULTI-PURPOSE FEE?

Since the NBI Clearance is a Multi-purpose, you can now use it for Local employment, Travel Abroad, Business Requirements, or other Requirements, and the fee is the same since it is Multi-purpose Clearance.

New Applicant for NBI Clearance expects the amount of Php 155.00 for your NBI Clearance fee. The Php 115.00 + Php 15.00 for additional (DST) and Php 25.00 for the system fee from the NBI Clearance Online.

The Validity of NBI Clearance is one year. So, when you need to Renew an NBI Clearance for your requirement in your job abroad and you don’t know how to start, and you need to get the NBI Clearance while working or living abroad. here’s how:

HOW TO APPLY AN NBI CLEARANCE WHILE IN ABROAD

Step 1. NBI Form No.5 – Go to the Philippine Embassy/Consulate Office in the country where you are living or working abroad. Ask the NBI Clearance Application Form (NBI Form No.5) to the personnel in the Philippine Embassy.

Back in 2009, I obtained my NBI Clearance for my employment requirements in the Quezon City Hall Branch of NBI clearance. 2. NBI ONLINE REGISTRATION and APPLICATION – Register online and fill up the application form online is necessary needed. The Registration of NBI Clearance and Application form are already in the NBI Clearance website.

NBI Clearance Renewal is also required to register and fill up the application form.

3. APPLICATION FEE – The total amount for the NBI Clearance fee is Php 155. Payment can be made to Bayad Center, Online Bank, Bank Over the Counter, 7-Eleven, MultiPay, and ECPay.

4. PROPER ATTIRE – The Proper Attire is a general rule in NBI Clearance Requirements. When you go to government offices, it is best to dress correctly. You can check the guidelines below.
